Families often encounter problems raising children. Difficulties may occur due to a child's inherent nature and/or emotional disposition. Problems may involve situational events and/or stressors. Other sources of difficulties might involve social factors and peer pressure. Parents may have difficulties due to differing parenting styles and/or lack of parenting skills. Parents can have insufficient knowledge about techniques for setting limits and structuring a child's behavior.
