Forensic Psychology is the application of psychology to legal issues related to judicial proceedings. Dr. Raymond provides evaluation and treatment services in civil and criminal matters.
Dr. Raymond has conducted several hundred evaluations for forensic purposes. He has testified in over 40 cases. He has been deposed in cases involving personal injury, sexual abuse, parental fitness, and relocation. The majority of forensic cases evaluated by Dr. Raymond has been in areas of parental capacity and attachment. These evaluations focus on assessing personality characteristics likely to enhance or detract from parenting, adequacy of coping skills, psychological capabilities for meeting the needs of children, and the nature of parent-child relationships with respect to attachment.
